The shield-shaped case with floral vase finial and foliate and drapery side mounts, with female mask to the front, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed J.B. Du Tertre/A PARIS, (the reverse signed Barbezat), pierced and chased ormolu hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with rectangular cut corner plates joined by five back-pinned pillars, now with anchor escapement and silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell, with repeat signature to the back plate
