the Spode examples naturalistically painted, with stem handles and on canted square bases; one Staffordshire pair on gilt octagonal bases, another on canted bases and with stem handles, the Enoch Wood pearlware pair on hexagonal black bases; the two spill vases each with a large tulip and smaller bud; together with a modern Italian porcelain example
