The Grand Cru vineyards of Echézeaux are found in the commune of Flagey-Echézeaux, about two miles south of Morey-Saint-Denis; the intervening comunes are Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot.
Echézeaux tends to produce wines of great finesse and with supple fruit and fine tannins.
