(Lots ...-....)
From 1908 upto 1913 Albert Plasschaert was the manager of Kunstzaal Oldenzeel, Rotterdam. It was here that he was first confronted with futurism and expressionism as like the art of Kandinskys.
Albert Plasschaert is one of those dutch artists, whose art was strongly influenced by their philosophy of life, namely theosophy. Besides a painter he was a sculptor, a stained glass artist, a musician and a poet and above all he was active as an Art critic. Plasschaert occult art facts can be reckoned among the earliest forms of abstract art in Holland.
