Château Canon in Fronsac, currently managed by the ever talented Christian Moueix of Pétrus, remains one of the most venerable vineyards in the appellation. The property is situated in the center of the great clay-limestone slope of Canon. Production of this microscopic 3.5 acre plot produces approximately six tons of a concentrated and refined wine whose quality is derived from its old vines, its exceptional situation and the balance of its clonal variety.
