At a great dinner in New York with the best company and food - this was simply the wine of the night against some pretty illustrious company. So ripe and honeyed but balanced by beautiful acidity. A bottle in such fabulous condition - so light in colour - floral, light and mind-blowingly hedonistic - a joy! Again in fall 2005 against the 1921; the 1959 seemed so energetic and full of orange blossom! RB
