SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY IRISH
The hinged lid with a blind fret carved strapwork frieze, the front carved with a pair of confronting dragons framed by foliage and C-scrolls, and with a drawer below carved with foliate S-scrolls and floral garlands, the sides carved with ho-ho birds within padgodas, on cabochon carved bracket feet
