QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The horizontally grooved bulbous body decorated with bands of archaistic decoration below a wider archaistic band on the sloping shoulder, with a pair of gilded handles cast at the top as an animal mask with pink enamelled ears and enamelled eyes and terminating at the bottom in a cloisonné enamel tab, raised on a similarly decorated, spreading foot supported by three angular scroll supports positioned below animal masks, the cover decorated en suite below a circular knop decorated with a flower head in the recessed center
