The sides incised with two scenes of pairs of peacocks standing either side of a garden rock flanked by peonies, the scenes separated by lion- mask handles, all set between rows of bosses, the slightly domed top with a central peony roundel and demi-lotus leaves at the rim, all in dark purplish blue, turquoise, ochre and aubergine
