With deep rounded sides decorated on the exterior with gilt (kinrande) lotus scroll decoration on an iron-red ground, the interior in underglaze blue with a chrysanthemum plant within a double circle on the raised mantou center below a diaper band at the rim, with a four-character mark, wanfu you tong, on the base
4¾ in. (12 cm.) diam.

The mark, wanfu you tong, may be translated, 'may ten thousand blessings gather together'.
