The upper and lower sections finely carved and decorated with riverscapes, including a scholar standing on a promontory near a pavilion as he looks out at the river, with a fisherman in his boat below, the design repeated in smaller format in the lower section, the middle section with two lively striding chilong separated by sprigs of lingzhi fungus, apocryphal Xuande mark to base
