The pear-shaped body decorated around the sides with fabulous sea creatures (crustacea) emitting flames in a wind-tossed sea crashing against rocks, with flower sprigs on the spout and handle, the domed cover with chrysanthemum petals at the base of the blue knop; together with a baluster jar and cover, Kangxi period, the jar with a band of peony and prunus sprays between vertically fluted bands, the domed cover decorated with eight pierced flower sprigs
