Finely painted with a scene of a seated court lady watching a pair of dancers, flanked by her attendants, one holding a fan, the other a ruyi sceptre, with a group of four musicians providing accompaniment, playing the drum, cymbals, dizi and pipa, another attendant holding a book, all set within an open-air pavilion, with swirling clouds and a rocky landscape beyond, the neck decorated with a mountainous riverscape, all within gilt and iron-red foliate scroll borders
