A RARE MING-STYLE SLIP-DECORATED BLUE-GROUND BOWL
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The upright sides angled above the foot and flaring towards the rim, decorated in white slip with a frieze of four fish swimming or leaping amidst aquatic plants and separated by vignettes of lotus plants rising from rippling waves, all above a double bow-string band and reserved on a rich blue ground, the nianhao in the base of the interior below a double line border at the rim
