Vases of this type are sometimes referred to as 'denglong zun' or 'lantern vases', and are usually covered in robin's egg glaze. A robin's egg blue example with an incised Jiaqing seal mark and of the period and in the collection of the Musée Guimet, Paris, is illustrated in Oriental Ceramics, The World's Great Collections, vol. 7, Tokyo, 1981, no. 184.
