The above shirt was worn by Riccardo Carapellese in the match against Czechoslovakia played in Bari on 14/12/47. Italy won 3-1, Carapellese scoring one goal. Carapellese made 16 appearances for the National side scoring ten goals. The shirt was presented by him to the Chairman of Bari Football Club after the match (the first International match to be played in Bari) who in turn presented it to the vendor's father
