The above shirt was worn by Simone Perrotta in the first half of the 2006 World Cup Final. In the match played in the Olympiastadion Berlin on the 9th July 2006, Italy defeated France 5-3 on penalties after extra time. Italy's fourth World Cup victory makes them the most successful European team in World Cup history
