Tibet, 15th Century
Well-cast seated in dhyanasana wearing a diaphanous robe with beaded hems and finely incised foliate scroll borders, his hands in dhyana mudra cradling the long-life vase inset with hardstones, his face sensitively modeled in a serene expression with downcast eyes beneath gently arched brows, urna, and flanked by pierced pendulous earlobes, his hair rising into a domed ushnisha with a rounded knop, richly gilt overall
