Modelled as a portico, the drum shaped case flanked by two cherubs holding a portrait medallion, the white enamel dial signed Ridel/Paris, above a galleried platform with urn finials, centred by a mask issuing floral garlands, on four fluted Corinthian columns, with white marble inverted breakfront base above black marble plinth, on circular flat feet
