A pair of Louis XV style ormolu-mounted tulipwood, amaranth and marquetry encoignures
Second half 19th Century
Each with brèche d'Alep marble top, above a serpentined front fitted with a door inlaid with delicate foliage and within a foliate ormolu frame, the interior with a single shelf, flanked by concaved sides, the angles applied with rocaille clasps, above a shaped apron and short cabriole legs terminating in acanthus sabots
