A Louis XVI style ormolu, rock-crystal and cut glass six-light chandelier
Attributed to Alfred Beurdeley, Paris, Third quarter 19th century
The flower-head corona issuing rope-twist supports holding the urn-shaped body, surmounted by a vase issuing branches with amethyst-coloured pear-shaped pendants, the acanthus-cast scrolling arms terminating in circular drip-pans and nozzles, joined by garlands of faceted balls
22 in. (56 cm.) high; 25 in. (64 cm.) diameter
