Lot Essay

This charming little gem shows a very attractive composition of three 'Polloks' weaving. The colours the artist uses now, end fourties beginning fifties are reds and greens. It is remarkable that other paintings on this subject were executed in an earlier stage in Le Mayeur's Balinese period.
