The saddle designed in gold and silver takamaki-e and hiramaki-e with gold and silver nashiji and mura-nashiji with large cherry trees in blossom against a glossy black-lacquer ground, harness rings painted with cherry blossoms, the saddle cushion, saddle pads and stirrup leather lacquered gold; iron stirrups with flush-inlaid silver and gold cherry blossoms, the underside with stylized bats and scrolling vines; interior lacquered red; signed on the front of the shank Hakushu ju Masaharu saku; iron snaffle-bit signed Bizen kuni ju .... Masayoshi saku
