Muromachi period (16th century), the katana with kinzogan signature Fuyuhiro, the wakizashi with kinzogan signature Hiromitsu
Katana:
Sugata [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune, toriizori, chu-kissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: ko-itame
Hamon [tempering pattern]: ko-notare of nie
Boshi [tip]: notare continuing to ko-maru tip
Nakago [tang]: suriage with three holes
Habaki [collar]: single, gilt-copper
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 66cm.
In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard], katana and wakizashi shirasaya both with attribution inscription written by Hon'ami Koson and dated 1910

Sugata [configuration]: hirazukuri, iori-mune with slight toriizori curvature
Kitae [forging pattern]: itame
Hamon [tempering pattern]: gunome with tobiyaki
Nakago [tang]: suriage with one hole
Habaki [collar]: single, gilt-copper
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 32.3cm.
In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard]

Koshirae [set of mounts]: pair of handachi scabbards, the katana saya decorated with hollyhock crests on aogai nashiji ground, the silver Akasaka-school fittings carved in katakiribori with dragons in clouds, the fuchi signed Yasutoshi and with kao, the gold menuki formed as dragons and the iron mokko tsuba pierced with paulownia and carved with family crests and scrolling vines; the wakizashi scabbard similarly decorated and with a gold Goto-school kozuka and kogai decorated with hollyhock crests in takazogan against a shakudo nanako ground (2)
