Meiji period (late 19th century), sealed
Slightly lobed, set on a raised ring foot and designed on the interior in raised and sunken relief and gold, silver and copper inlays with the bodhisattva Kannon on the back of a large carp in crashing waves with two attendant demons, one presenting a gift to the deity, the other carrying a gourd suspended on a staff, the rim decorated with geometric band
