The first with fighting cocks rendered in high-relief gold and red lacquer on a kinji ground, the birds' eyes inlaid in glass and their feathers highlighted with red and black hiramaki-e, hirame, and kirigane, interiors nashiji; the second designed in the shape of an owl on a branch in shades of gold and brown lacquer with highlights in black, the eyes inlaid in glass and the branch with kirigane embellishments, nashiji interiors
