A Chinese soapstone model of a Lohan, 18th Century
carved seated, both hands resting on his raised knee, a Buddhistic lion clambering on the left, wearing flowing robes delicately incised in gold to the borders, painted sanskrit to the reverse of the figure - 3¾in. (9.5cm) soapstone octagonal stand.
