AN EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER SUGAR VASE & COVER
MARK OF CHARLES FOX (II), LONDON, 1839
Circular with pierced scrollwork sides centred by a vacant cartouche, foliate trifurcated scroll handles & feet, the domed cover similarly pierced & capped by a finial modelled as a phoenix rising from the flames, blue glass liner, the cover with seperate screw-in liner, 6¾ in. high (17 cm.), 14.75 oz.
