CIRCA 1740, ONE DUTCH, ONE GERMAN FOR THE DUTCH MARKET
The funnel bowls with a crowned coat-of-arms flanked by lion supporters, the Dutch with mirroring Batavian lions for the province of Gelderland, on light-baluster stem enclosing an elongated tear, on folded conical foot, 17.3 cm. high, the German with a single lion for the province of Noord-Brabant and with faceted lower bowl and stem, on slightly folded conical foot, 18.7 cm. high (2)
