THE DE PANNEMAEKER COLLECTION OF APOTHECARY JARS (Lots 113-133) The De Pannemaeker pharmacy is very well known in the Flemish part of Belgium. Three generations, starting with Arthur, at the end of the 19th century, led the pharmacy in Ghent. André, was a serious art connoisseur and collected pharmaceutical ware. Jean-Pierre seriously expanded the family business and finally sold the pharmacy in 2004.

Painted in blue, yellow and manganese with a cartouche, one inscribed with S.D.SVCC.CITRI., the other with FLOR.PERSICOR (one with a horizontal hairline crack)
