Deeper in color than the '82s of La Conseillante & Figeac. Color has yet to yield to the marching of time. A big effort, very atypical for Talbot. Very even in texture and bouquet. This bottle unevolved, reminds me of Las Cases in this vintage - monumental. This is the finest Talbot of the modern era! Tasted at Christie's Los Angeles, October 25, 2002. ST
