Lot Essay

The captain's work was never done. Even though he had his own private office, his ready room, next to the bridge, he often seemed to be busy at his desk when we saw him in his quarters. Maybe it's something about the desk that made him productive. Maybe it's just that going boldly into the cosmos required a lot of paperwork.
