Lot Essay

This artifact was intended as an homage to Spock's wedding ceremony in "Amok Time" Star Trek: The Original Series. In both "Amok Time" and "Home," we saw that the technologically-sophisticated Vulcans embraced the beauty of hand-crafted art and the rough-hewn textures of nature. This art piece reflects both values.
