The Xindi were comprised of several related species, including the aggressive reptilians, the sloth-like humanoids, the thoughtful aquatics, the impatient insectoids, and the industrious arboreals. Some, like the reptilians and humanoids, were played by actors on stage. Others, like the exotic aquatics and insectoids, were represented by computer-rendered puppets. Each had different traits as reflected by their differing costumes, but all seemed united in their desire to see Earth reduced to a pile of smouldering embers.
