Many of these futuristic curvilinear chairs were originally used in the Ten-Forward Lounge set aboard the Enterprise-D in Star Trek: The Next Generation. When that series concluded, they were re-upholstered for use on Star Trek: Voyager. Many found use in the Voyager's mess hall, while others graced a variety of living quarters sets.
