The Star Trek Generations-style Starfleet uniforms were designed by Robert Blackman in an effort to lend a more military flair to the costumes, while making them a little more comfortable to wear. These uniforms were first filmed in Star Trek: Generations, and were thereafter adopted for the casts of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.
