Lot Essay

Terry Farrell is a star. Literally. In 2001, Canadian astronomer William Kwong Yu Yeung named an asteroid in her honor. Asteroid 26734 Terryfarrell was named by the International Astronomical Union. (Unlike the commercial "name-your-own-star" services, the International Astronomical Union is the internationally recognized scientific authority that administers the official names of stars, asteroids, and other astronomical objects.)
