A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 'FITZHUGH' OVAL TUREEN, COVER AND STAND, of compressed bombé shape with cross-laced handles with vine-relief terminals, the double-domed cover with elaborate lotus bud 'mushroom' finial and petal collar, each side, the stand and cover finely painted with four peony blooms and auspicious objects surrounding a roundel with pomegranate, finger citrus and stylised animals, circa 1816
