Each square back, downswept arms and seatrail carved with ropetwist and entrelacs, the padded back, arms and seat covered in 18th century Aubusson tapestry depicting a flower-filled vase within an oval reserve, against a floral ground, on turned tapering fluted legs headed by paterae and ending in toupie feet, each stamped to underside of front seat rail, each with Chenue transit label (2)
