Of Louis XVI style, the rectangular frames with out-stepped corners decorated with swirling gilt bosses, gilt beading and leaf with berry surround encircle the oval mirror, '58910X' inscribed on the back of each mirror, possibly originally part of the boiserie scheme and picture frames
