Woven in silks and wools, depicting 'Hector prepares for his combat with Achilles' from 'The Story of Troy', the central field with an enthroned king flanked by two ladies and a general before him, surrounded by further soldiers and a seascape with battleships and further soldiers on the shore, within an element border with animals and within a blue outer guard border, with weaver's monogram of 'AR' and Audenarde town's mark
