Of Renaissance revival style, each with a central circular panel painted with putti flanked by a two square panels painted with a coat-of-arms and two additional circular panels painted with lyres, the opposite sides each with two octagonal panels of classical maidens on a gold ground and further arabesque panels, all framed in egg-and-dart moldings and further arabesque scrollwork, some losses to one side of one door

Alessandro, the Prince of Civitella-Cesi (1800-1886) married on 16 July 1840, in Rome, Donna Teresa Colonna-Doria (1823-1875). These doors, bearing his coat-of-arms, would have probably been part of one of their Roman palaces.
