STAMPED TWICE 'E LEVASSEUR' AND THREE TIMES 'JME', CIRCA 1780, CONVERTED FROM A BUREAU A CYLINDRE
The canted rectangular top with inset green leather writing-surface and molded edge, above the quarter-veneered sides with one frieze-drawer flanked by two short drawers to the left and one deep coffre fort drawer to the right, on square tapering legs with twisted ormolu angles and on caps, stamped to the left inside of knee-hole and to the underside of the coffre fort drawer
