(23.1cm.) diameter, with transfer-printed blue (some discoloration) "DISCOVERY" ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION 1901. logo on the fluted edge, dark blue band and gilt rim, brown transfer-printed manufacturer's logo 'Doulton Burslem England' with registered number and impressed marks to base
