Provenance: Gustav Amundsen (brother of Roald Amundsen, WITH PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION FROM LINCOLN ELLSWORTH 'To my dear friends, Captain and Mrs Malfred Amundsen, With the kindest regards of Lincoln Ellsworth. 7 March 1926.'), and thence by descent to the present owner;
