Tasting Note: Five notes, first in 1990: a really lovely wine, soft and sweet but in 1992 noted its depth of colour, full body, crisp, punchy flavour and substantial tannins. At the St-Vivant vertical at the Domaine in 1995, it was now medium-deep, more advanced than the '90 and with a glorious nose: fleshy, soft fruit, fragrant, with flavour to match.Most recently, at the follow-up St-Vivant vertical: still fairly deep, dark cherry; vegetal nose, 'broccoli', sweet, rich, high alcohol, assertive and more grip than the '90. Last noted at the Domaine, Oct 2001 ***(**) Could still do with more bottle age M.B.
