Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1940 and its subsequent sale on October 7th of the same year.

Patek Philippe commenced production of the reference 570 in 1938. This famed wristwatch is best known for its large size "Calatrava" case. According to our research, this wristwatch is the earliest pink gold example of the reference 570 to have appeared at auction. It represents one of approximately only 30 pieces in pink gold known to the market.
