AN ART NOUVEAU ENAMEL AND PEARL "PEACOCK LADY" BROOCH, BY RENE LALIQUE
The gold curving plaque, set with a profile of a girl holding stylized leaves or peacock feathers, her flowing hair and background in blue and green enamel, the hair twisting below into an openwork spiral motif, suspending a black cultured pearl, measuring approximately 10.80 mm., the reverse in seagreen enamel, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1897, with French assay marks
