AN ART NOUVEAU PERIDOT, RUBY, ENAMEL AND GOLD CORSAGE ORNAMENT, BY RENE LALIQUE
Designed as an enamel and gold openwork hinged gold plaque, set with two oval-cut peridots, designed as two facing dragonflies, each with a brown enamel body and a cabochon ruby eye, extending pale orange plique-à-jour enamel wings with gold veining, to the orange enamelled gold scrolls and cabochon peridot accents, mounted in gold, circa 1903
