Architectural Plans for building in St Petersburg, 1851
A proposal from Franz Bird the owner of a property on the embankment of the Neva River and Priazhka River asking the Planning Committee of the 1st District of St Petersburg for permission to build another floor on his house and an Orangery in the courtyard behind. The Planning Committee have signed the drawings in agreement only if the building goes ahead exactly as specified in the plans. Also attached to the plans is a printed sheet of general rules and guidelines for the building and plumbing of various types of houses.
